CCA GRAND POINTED AT 10 MONTHS

- Kathy Balmer; Finalled Goldie as 4 th BEST
- Elaine Gleason; Finalled her in 6 th BEST
- Aline Noel-Garel; Finalled her as 5 th BEST
Twice 2 nd Best Longhair, and 2nd Best All breed Champion

Comments where as followed; Goldie matchs every aspect of the CCA standard but they felt she needed a couple of months to grow some more as she doesn't compete well against the larger and older males. Boy those males need to watch out as 3 judges over looked this in her and finalled her anyhow, my stock matures great by 1 year so watch out boys. One judge comment on how well she was groomed to perfection and other breeders should take pointers from these breeders on such things as not over triming. Actually Ben takes fill credit on the grooming l help but he is very good in this department, way to go Ben. One judge comment on Goldie's eyes that they where to die for. Thank you very much for loveing Goldie and pilling her up.

Judge Nicole Menweg handling Meggie in Ottawa, Oct. 2005
A great thanks to all judges finalling her as an Open in the CCA in almost every ring.
This is a special achievement for any cat in the CCA.

Nicole Menweg awarding Meggie with 10 Best in show.
Also is the same show she recieved; 4 th. Best in show from
Michelle LaCasse, 4 th. Best in show from Felicity Hawthorn,
her CCA Championship, and her International Championship.
All this plus stand up reviews from every Judge that finalled her.
You must remember it was a one day show for us and that at this
time she is only an Open in the CCA.

Judge Michelle LaCasse, judging Petite in Ottawa Oct. 2005 Kitten Class

Memorial; l remember when Michelle after judgeing Meggie, told me that she hoped l was planning on breeding Meggie becuase of her big open eyes.
Well l'm sure your smieling from above as our first grand champion is the grand daughter to Meggie and yes she has her eyes.
It would of been so wonderful to have you judge Goldie, but l'm sure your looking down on the cat fancy you loved so much.
