FOR UP DATED CANADIAN SHOW SCORES GO TO;
http://www.royalcanin.ca/breeders/cat/ccascores_en.php

Showing CCA, CFA, TICA, or etc. well today makes no difference. One must remember a few factors. First there are top cats in every breed around the world today. For a cat to recieve a Grand Championship in any association he or she must win over many top cats in that association. So don't for a minute fool yourself into thinking that the best cats of your breed are in one association or in one country. If you think this way you'll miss out on many top cats of your breed in another association. There are many top breeders of Himalayans for example in CCA, CFA, TICA and in oversea associations.

At the DREAMZ cattery we consider ourselves as an International cattery. Therefore we use the terms Canadian, American, and International often in our site. One must remember we are Canadian and proud of the CCA. A win in the CCA is as important as one in the CFA as one must receive that win by competing against many top Himalayans in either association. You must remember breeders more so today are also tring to be more cost efficant, traveling to a show can be more costly the further away it is. Therefore you will find more breeders going to closer shows, to thier home base. By doing this a breeder can get to twice as many shows then traveling to the further away shows. For the Dreamz cattery we are located dead center of the CCA so we show in many CCA shows in Ontario, and Quebec. We also plan on showing in more CFA shows in New York State latter this year. For breeders in Western Canada they are able to show in more TICA shows. It's just that simple money, and location can affect where a breeder shows. Now l ask you a good question are you willing to not think of a whole group of breeders in any association just because of the association they show in. As for the Dreamz cattery we look at the type of the line if it measures up to what we are looking for it makes no difference in which association or in what country they are in. Great type is great type and should never be over looked.

- Aline Noel-Garel; Finalled her as 5 th BEST
Twice 2 nd Best Longhair, and 2nd Best All breed Champion

Comments where as followed; Goldie matchs every aspect of the CCA standard but they felt she needed a couple of months to grow some more as she doesn't compete well against the larger and older males. Boy those males need to watch out as 3 judges over looked this in her and finalled her anyhow, my stock matures great by 1 year so watch out boys. One judge comment on how well she was groomed to perfection and other breeders should take pointers from these breeders on such things as not over triming. Actually Ben takes fill credit on the grooming l help but he is very good in this department, way to go Ben. One judge comment on Goldie's eyes that they where to die for. Thank you very much for loveing Goldie and pilling her up.
